Lebanon is well-known for being one of the rare middle-east countries with Ski slopes scattered from North till Metn such as Cedar ski slopes, Laklouk Ski slopes, Kfardebian Ski slopes, Zaarour ski slopes…
Lebanese like the winter sport and many aim at owning a “Chalet” close to ski slopes. But what are the top must-have amenities in ski chalets?

1. Underground parking
This is a must! No one wants to shovel snow when trying to leave his/her chalet. Underground parking is a critical feature that most chalet buyers seek.

2. “Ski-In, Ski-Out”
A chalet with “ski-in, ski-out” access is essentially the winter equivalent of an seaside chalet: a chalet that is located right next to a prime slope, and residents need only put on their skis to embark on a trail, no driving or packing required.

3. Fitness Center
A gym is a desired feature in a ski chalet to maintain physical fitness.

4. Social Room
Social room can include Billiards, game room and a chill-out room for passing good times and socializing among the different residents of the chalet community.

5. Spa
When it comes to relaxing after the challenges of a day’s skiing (or an indoor workout), a full spa provides the ultimate chalet experience. Features of a desired spa are traditional hammam, sauna, an outdoor Jacuzzi and an indoor pool.

6. “Après Ski” Bar
The tradition of an “après ski” cocktail or glass of wine is alive and well, inspiring some architects to include pubs and bars in compounds of modern chalets

7. Restaurants & Wine Cellars
Lebanese tend to like French cuisine with good wine, or international cuisine for that matter. Adding a Lebanese restaurant as well can be very welcome. Any gated community of chalets that can include both international and Lebanese cuisine is a winner in our opinion.
Ski chalets are very “a la mode” in Lebanon. Lebanese like the winter sport of “Ski” and they are proud of being quite good at that sport.

Let’s ski ?
