A few days ago, a jeweler placed a rough diamond in my hand.
"Tell me what you see," he asked.
Honestly?
Not much.
Opaque. Uneven. Almost ordinary.
Then he smiled.
"The value isn't in what you see today. It's in what this stone can become in the right hands."
I've thought about that sentence ever since.
Because that's exactly how we recruit at JSK Real Estate.
We don't hire people because they already shine.
We hire them because we believe they can.
The most polished résumé isn't always the most promising one.
What we're really looking for is much harder to measure:
Curiosity.
Integrity.
Discipline.
Resilience.
A willingness to learn.
Some of the best professionals at JSK Real Estate joined us with very little experience.
What they had was something far more valuable:
Potential.
Our job is to provide the coaching, the systems, the culture, and the opportunities that turn potential into performance.
Skills can be taught.
Confidence can be built.
But the raw material...
That has to be there from the start.
So when I interview someone, I'm not asking myself,
"How impressive are they today?"
I'm asking,
"What could this person become three years from now if we invest in them?"
That's how great teams are built.
Not by collecting finished diamonds.
But by recognizing rough ones before everyone else does.
If you're ambitious, eager to learn, and ready to work hard (even if your résumé doesn't yet reflect your full potential) I would love to hear from you.
At JSK Real Estate, we're looking for the next generation of professionals to grow with us.
Maybe you're one of them. 💎
