Arab Open University organized a seminar under the name of “Economic & Social implications of the Real Estate Market”. The event took place on Tuesday April 2nd, 2019 at Riviera Hotel Beirut. Among the speakers were Mr. Rony Lahoud, Chairman & General Manager, Public Corporation for Housing, Dr. Georges Maarawi, Director of the directorate General of the Real Estate & Cadastre Administration & many others. The topics varied from Public sector policies & strategies to private banks – clients demand & loan intake.

Mrs Samar Hassan, General Manager JSK, was one of the speakers. She tackled from an agent point of view the challenges & future opportunities of the real estate sectors and the economic implications. The seminar was attended by students of AOU as well as general public.

“it is very beneficial to keep the flow of discussion between policy makes, financial institutions and real estate professionals. Real Estate sector is an important sector in the Lebanese economy and hence such seminars are very interesting for us to attend and participate at”, said Mrs Hassan.
